About this work
King Ahasuerus and his official Haman sit at table with Esther. Esther accuses Haman of the planned murder of the Jewish people. In the background Haman can be seen kneeling by Queen Esther's bed and begging her for his life. King Ahasuerus walks up the stairs and will accuse Haman of assault. To the left through a door Haman can be seen being hanged. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Esther 7. This print is part of an album.
