About this work

King Ahasuerus and his official Haman sit at table with Esther. Esther accuses Haman of the planned murder of the Jewish people. In the background Haman is seen kneeling at Queen Esther's bed and begging her for his life. King Ahasuerus walks up the stairs and will accuse Haman of assault. Through a door on the left Haman is seen being hanged. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Est. 7. Print is part of an album.
