Man Confronted with Moses and the Dominion of Sin

Two biblical allegories in architectural framing. To the left Man is grabbed and addressed by Moses, while the personification of Disobedience grabs him by the other arm and Sin holds him bound. To the right Man stands before the throne of Sin, to whom he is presented by the personification of the Law. The representation shows the hopeless situation of man, who becomes aware of his sin through the knowledge of the law.
