About this work

On a cartouche on a pedestal, the title in Italian and Dutch. On the pedestal sits the personification of Honor (Honore) holding a laurel wreath in one hand as a symbol of Fame and a cornucopia in the other as a symbol of Abundance. To the left stands Drawing (Disegno) with a compass and mirror, and to the right stands Labor (Labore) with a spade. Two lines in Dutch below the pedestal. Title print for a series of drawing examples. This print is part of an album.
