About this work
Christ enthroned as judge on the clouds, surrounded by saints and apostles. On earth, people rise from their graves and are divided among angels and devils. Print from a series of nine prints with triumphal wagons from the Antwerp Circumcision Procession of 1561. The personifications on the wagons together depict the cycle of human action. The series is concluded by this Last Judgment, which was traditionally depicted on the final wagon of the procession.
