About this work
Standing man dressed in a green 'habit habillé', consisting of a coat, waistcoat, and breeches. Hat under the arm. Further accessories: sword at the left side, fob, shoes with round buckles. The print is part of the 27th Cahier, 2nd year, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 – 21 December 1789.
