About this work
In the foreground the apostle Peter is asked to pray for Dorcas (Tabitha), a woman who had just died but had done many good works in her community. On the upper floor of a house, Peter prays for the corpse of Dorcas and brings her back to life. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Acts 9: 36-38. The print forms part of an album.
