About this work
The apostle Peter, praying in his room, receives a vision. In heaven a large cloth appears, in which various animals of the world are found. This vision was symbolic, a sign of God that even non-Jews were created by God to receive Christ's message. In the background the messengers of the Roman centurion Cornelius arrive at Peter's house. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Acts 10: 11-12. The print forms part of an album.
