About this work

The Church Fathers sit in a church space and discuss the issue of the holy sacrament of the Eucharist. On the altar stands a monstrance with a host, above it floats the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. In the sky, the heavenly court convenes on the matter. Christ sits in the middle, on either side Mary and John the Baptist, behind him figures from the Bible. God the Father and the angel choir float above the clouds. The print is part of an album.
