About this work

The ship with Christ and his disciples suddenly gets into a heavy storm. High waves batter the ship. The disciples are afraid for their lives but Christ sleeps peacefully on deck. One of the disciples wakes Christ. Letters stand next to various elements of the scene. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Matthew 8: 24-26. The print is part of an album.
