Print is part of an album. Numbered XLIII in the lower right. In the center, the Maid of Amsterdam flanked by two lions. On her head the city crown, above it an eagle with the imperial crown. On her breast the three Andreaskruizen. In her hands a palm branch as a symbol of victory, fame and peace, and an olive branch as a symbol of peace. To her left Minerva, goddess of wisdom. To her right a female personification of Strength, with Hercules' lion skin and a sword. To the left and right four putti with attributes having a double meaning. To the left a putto with a cornucopia as a symbol of prosperity and the element Earth. To the right of that a putto with Mercury's winged helmet and caduceus as a symbol of trade and the element Air (the winged helmet). To the right a putto with a rudder as a symbol of good governance and the element Water. To the left of that a putto with a staff bearing the all-seeing eye as a symbol of good justice and the element Fire.
