About this work
A house on the Herengracht in Amsterdam where a fire raged on the night of 25 to 26 April 1683, but which was preserved by timely extinguishing with hose nozzles. To the left lies the bridge for the Hartenstraat. With a four-line inscription in Dutch and French. At the top, text in a separate plate: 14th Figure Page: 32.
