About this work
Map of the Seventeen Provinces with the earliest military operations in the War of the Spanish Succession. In the upper left the title cartouche with a female figure with a cornucopia, putti and river gods. In the lower right a cartouche with two scales: 25 Dutch Miles 15 in a Degree / 20 French Miles or hours of travel 20 in a Degree. The map is provided with a degree division along the edges.
