View of the Third Regulierspoort, built in 1654-1655, and the associated bridge in Amsterdam, seen from outside the city. Various figures along the quay and on the bridge. This stone gate replaced the earlier wooden Second Regulierspoort. After the Fourth Expansion and the construction of the Utrechtsepoort (1664), this building had lost its function as a city gate.
