View of the Second Saint Anthony Gate built in 1636 and the associated bridge in Amsterdam, seen from outside the city. On the bank and on the bridge various figures. After the Fourth Extension and the construction of the First Muider Gate (1663) this building had lost its function as a city gate. In 1670 it would be demolished. Part of a print series of Amsterdam city gates.
