Sheet with four oval images, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left Saint Ignatius being attacked by wild animals in an arena, top right the Christ child being handed over to a priest by Mary, bottom left Saint Blaise surrounded by wild animals, bottom right Saint Isidore praying in the wilderness by a cross. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are always printed on one sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, there are in total 124 plates (490 scenes). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) are cut in the third state into 12 small plates, and issued with a separate title page.
