Sheet with four oval scenes, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left Saint Procopius as a military leader on horseback, top right Saint Aquila with his wife Priscilla and Saint Paul at two tents, bottom left Saint Anatolia subduing a dragon, bottom right the sisters Rufina and Secunda with a stone tied to a rope around their necks in the water. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are printed on each sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, the series comprises 124 plates (490 depictions). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) were cut down in the third state to 12 small prints and issued with a separate title page.
