Sheet with four oval scenes, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left Saint Livarius of Marsal as a soldier with his severed head in his hands, top right Saint Saturninus of Toulouse who is dragged behind an ox, bottom left Saint Joscion on a bed with roses by his head, bottom right apostle Andrew crucified on an inclined cross. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are printed on each sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, the series comprises 124 plates (490 scenes). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) were cut down in the third state to 12 small prints, and issued with a separate title page.
