About this work
In the presence of a soldier, Peter is recognized as a follower of Christ by a maid of Caiaphas. Peter denies being so, thereby denying Christ. After Peter has denied it three times, the cock will crow. Latin text with Bible quote from Matthew 26 and inscription in the lower margin.
