About this work

In an architectural space, the angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will become pregnant. Mary sits behind a lectern while the angel Gabriel appears to her holding a lily. In the sky, the Holy Spirit as a dove and God the Father surrounded by angels and cherubim. Dedication and coat of arms in the lower margin.
