Death of Mary with a cycle of scenes and the Assumption. At the bottom of the sheet, in two rows one above the other, from left to right, the following episodes are depicted: Body of Mary is carried to the tomb; Apostles kneel at the empty tomb; Death of Mary; bottom row: Mary receives the message about her death; Mary receives the palm from paradise; Mary waits for her family and apostles; An angel calls the apostles together. On the upper half of the sheet the Assumption of Mary is depicted. She is carried upwards by angels and cherubins, in heaven the host of angels, martyrs, confessors, widows, virgins and children wait for her. These are depicted left and right of Mary among clouds, with German text the groups are indicated.
