Satirical print on the conscription of Dutch peasant sons for the French army. In front of a house with the signboard: Dutch school, old and men and children have gathered. These are described in the texts as 'below standard', 'defective' and 'young'. A woman warns against child thieves. The suitable young men flee from the conscription officials of the French army.
