Satirical print on the conscription of Dutch men for the French imperial army. In front of a house with the sign 'Hollandse school', old men and children have gathered. Text in the print describes the figures as 'below standard' and 'defective'. A woman warns against child thieves. The suitable young men flee from the conscription officers of the French army.
