About this work
A soldier, full-length, facing right, holding a musket (a certain type of firearm) with both hands in front of him, the barrel pointing upwards, to bring it to his left side. In his left hand, besides the barrel of the musket, a fork (musket fork) and a lit match. This print is part of the series of 43 numbered prints of musketeers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
