About this work
Two epitaphs. On the left a headpiece in sarcophagus form above a relief with a representation of a praying knight. On the right a headpiece in the form of a sarcophagus above a plate with inscription, flanked by Fides and Spes. On the sarcophagus stands Caritas. No. 15 from the series: title page, text page and 14 sheets with grotesques with scrollwork, satyrs, garlands, trophies, animals and fantasy creatures.
