About this work

In a room, two men stand facing each other. One hands a just-drawn document to the other. A two-headed figure and an allegorical female figure with a lamb look on. In the foreground, a monkey sits amidst coins. In the sky, on a cloud, sits Justice. The representation is framed by a border decorated with cartouches containing various scenes from the story.
