About this work
Mary is crowned in heaven by the Trinity. Christ and God the Father place the crown on her head. The scene is framed by a rosary border. In each corner, a medallion with scenes of the prophets, apostles, martyrs, and Church Fathers. In the cartouche below, the adoration of Mary and the Christ Child by St. Catherine, St. Agnes, and other saints.
