Stained-Glass Window 24 in the St. John's Church, Gouda: Philip Preaching, Healing, and Baptizing

The twenty-fourth stained-glass window in the Sint-Janskerk in Gouda, depicting Philip, who preaches to a crowd with a book under his arm. People come to him for healing. In the background, in a room, Philip receives an order from an angel to go to the road. Then Philip encounters the eunuch in his traveling chariot, the Ethiopian official, whom he helps read a Bible text. In the center, Philip baptizes the Ethiopian. On the right in the foreground, Count Philip of Ligne, Lord of Wassenaar, the donor of the stained-glass window.
