About this work
The fifth stained-glass window in the Sint-Janskerk in Gouda, depicting the visit of the Queen of Sheba to King Solomon. The Queen of Sheba appears before Solomon's throne with her retinue and gifts behind her. At the bottom is the donor of the stained-glass window, Elburga van Boetzelaer, and behind her the Archangel Gabriel.
