About this work
Display of the Blooming of the Earth. Part of the performances held on 23 June 1648 at the Schouwburg in Amsterdam following the signing of the Peace of Münster. The fourth performance shows how the Earth and Abundance recover after the war, the virtues return from the gods' heaven (with Apollo) to the earth. In the caption a verse of eight lines in Dutch.
