Display of the Desired Freedom. Part of the performances held on 23 June 1648 at the Schouwburg in Amsterdam following the signing of the Peace of Münster. The second performance shows the personification of Freedom sitting on a pedestal, with Fame in the air. In the caption a verse of four lines in Dutch. Numbered in pen bottom right: 6.
