Display of the Desired Freedom. Part of the displays performed on June 23, 1648, at the Schouwburg in Amsterdam following the signing of the Peace of Münster. The second display shows the personification of Freedom seated on a pedestal, with Fame in the sky. In the inscription, a four-line verse in Dutch.
