About this work

Map of Lille (Rijssel) and surroundings, besieged from 22 August and taken by the Allies under Prince Eugene of Savoy and Prince John William Friso on 23 October 1708. With inscriptions in Dutch and Latin. Fragment of a large plate with nine depictions of events from the year 1708 of the War of the Spanish Succession.
