About this work

Orangist allegory on the restoration of Stadtholder Willem V in 1787. The Stadtholder standing on a corner stone with the Dutch Maiden and Lion. Discord tries in vain to topple the corner stone of the State Building. A Prussian eagle chases away the French rooster and the English panther. Concord sends lightning bolts from heaven down on Discord. With inscription in two columns. The print is also accompanied by a separate explanation.
