About this work

Carnival print of the Amsterdam night watch (ratelwacht), 7 September 1846. Several men walk at night with rattles through a street in front of the Beurs van Zocher. Oval composition with Liberty on the left and a river god on the right. With a poem in three columns. On behalf of the night watch in quarter No. 21 of the 2nd section of the Police: J. Meijer, P. Wildenberg, J. Lammoree and G.W. Lohuijs.
