Minerva points a putto with a flame on his head to the bust of Karel van Mander on a pedestal with the book title. To the left, two putti and Father Time sit. Above the bust, Fama blows a trumpet, holding the Ouroboros snake as a symbol of eternity in her hand. To the right, a putto reveals portrait medallions, a sculpture, and a donkey with a painting. In the background, Apollo and the Muses sit.
