About this work

On the left wing panel the preaching of John the Baptist, with two soldiers in the foreground. On the outside of the left wing: John the Baptist with the Lamb of God. Part of a triptych with scenes from the life of John the Baptist. The altarpiece was made for a Benedictine monastery in Groot-Bijgaarden, near Brussels. With integrated frame.
