About this work
Neoclassical gilded frame with pâte ornaments from different style periods; Renaissance, Empire and Biedermeier. The inner rebate opening is oval. The mitres are connected at the back with tapered dovetail wedges. The inner frame is fixed with nails in the rebate of the outer profile.
