Jacquard woven ribbon with abstract medallion and scrollwork design composed of red and green medallions with brown scrollwork on black ground; narrow brown band along edge with larger interior brown and gold band outlining medallions. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
