About this work
A farmer and farmeress from the village of Cromhout on their way to Den Bosch. The girl carries a large basket on her arm, the boy a stick with a hare and a knapsack. Part of a bound edition of the series of twenty-four plates of Dutch costumes in the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the beginning of the nineteenth century by Maaskamp, 1829.
