About this work

Linen damask napkin with a floral pattern and lattice work. On a pointed oval field spanning the full width, a console (?) with lattice work stands, from which a symmetrical bouquet emerges, consisting of an pineapple-shaped flower, a leafy vine, and a leaf rosette bearing three roses. The field is bordered by a wide band with net filling and a border of leafy vines and individual flowers. In the corners, among others, carnations. Double standing borders: the inner one with a lattice ground and running volute vine, the outer one with scallop shells; beyond that: a block border.
