Linen damask napkin with events from the War of the Spanish Succession. The symmetrically doubled pattern shows four scenes: 1 A city threatened by cannons with the inscription TOURNAY. 2 A small citadel is surrounded by two riders leading infantry. Inscription: LE BATAILLE BAVEZ. 3 Siege of RIJSSEL. Inscription: LILICIDIUM. 4 A galloping marshal facing the center. Inscription: MONS. Standing borders: halved trophies; around: block border.
