Baptismal veil of appliqué lace with blooming roses on a branch and snowballs above curved feathered leaves

Baptismal veil of natural-colored Brussels appliqué lace: Brussels bobbin lace applied on drochel ground. Square model and lined with natural-colored taffeta. Scattered pattern of leaves in the central field and along the edges a repeating pattern of two placed leaves side by side, between which a twisted branch. Both the slightly curved leaves in the scattered pattern and the larger version of these leaves along the edges are feathered on the concave side and smooth on the convex side. The convex side of the large leaves has a zigzag edge and in these leaves is always one flower branch with rosette flowers. The outer edge is a scallop edge and consists of a series of half-standing half-lying leaves with the same half-feathered form. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges and partly provided with cutwork relief contours.
