About this work

Round doily of natural-colored bobbin lace. The pattern consists of narrow winding bands in linen stitch, which are connected to each other by overlapping pairs. Around the winding bands in the center runs a wider band made in net stitch, which forms a frame with four lobes. Around this, a continuous narrow winding band always forms a three-lobed shape with six semi-oval lobes along the outer edge. This pattern with the three-lobed shape repeats six times and forms a scalloped edge of six scallops with six lobes.
