Strip of bobbin lace with a horizontal flower branch with two flowers bending upwards and one bending downwards

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Lille lace. Under a narrow band with a scattered pattern of square buttonholes the repeating pattern consists of a lying flower branch, with two flowers bending upwards and one flower bending downwards over which a large leaf hangs. Between the successive flower branches stand several configurations of seven and of four buttonholes. Along the underside of the strip one-sided oriented leaves spring from a straight bobbin-worked band. The motifs are connected by a fine mesh ground, a tulle ground. The motifs are made in linen stitch with large cutouts and thicker and shiny contour threads. Decorative ground is applied in the largest flowers. The buttonholes are made in buttonhole stitch. The top edge of the strip is finished straight. The straight bobbin-worked band along the underside is finished with picots.
