About this work

Strip of natural-colored Brussels applied lace: needle lace applied on a drawnwork ground (bobbin lace). Scatter pattern with four rows of round flowers on a stem with two leaves, underneath a repeating pattern along the lower edge with hanging carnations. The upper side of the strip is finished straight. The scalloped edge comes from the pattern with the carnations.
