Strip of natural-coloured needle lace: Alençon lace. Scatter motif with three rows of always a small branch alternating with a four-petaled flower or with a wheel picot in a circular cord. The scatter motif stands on a fine hexagonal mesh ground. The pattern at the underside of the strip consists of arches with three-petaled leaves on both sides. Below that lying and standing ovals, filled with ornamental grounds. The underside is finished with a nearly straight edge with very fine picots. The upper side is edged with a bobbin lace border.
