About this work
Flower rug, Dagestan, Karabagh or South Shirwan. Central field: the field is divided by a grid in light yellow into blue squares in which brown-bordered stars stand, arranged diagonally by color in white, turquoise green, red and ochre yellow. The yellow grid has red outlines and diamonds at the nodes. Borders: triple. The middle and widest is divided into white squares with stars standing inside octagons. The inner and outer borders are equal, with dark red ground with loose rosette flowers.
