About this work

Strip of natural-colored cotton with lace embroidery: English embroidery. Pattern with a continuous 'pearl string' of openwork circles along the scallop border and above each scallop an oval daisy. In the flower hearts a type of needle lace decorative stitches is applied. Each scallop always has five embroidered lobes.
