About this work

Handkerchief of batiste with a border of bobbin lace: Eastern European lace. Square model with rounded corners and a scalloped edge. The lace pattern is symmetrical along each side with respect to the length axis. A double faint wavy line divides the pattern into an upper and lower part in which strongly winding lines form standing and lying waves.
